MEDIUM SECURITY FENCING

PALISADE FENCING

 

MONDIALE designs and fabricates its own range of Palisade Fencing, known as The Salisbury Range. This includes Palisade Fencing with corrugated profiles (‘D’ & ‘W’) as well as ‘Angle’ Profiles. Salisbury Range is a popular choice with schools, businesses and industrial estates due to its high security performance, appearance and resistance to vandalism.

SUTTON GARRISON FENCING

 

The Sutton Garrison fence is MONDIALE’s most attractive fencing option visually, and thus is our most popular option for residential fencing. The traditional design gives an appearance that enhances not damages your view, and in terms of security and installation it shares the same benefits as the Salisbury Range of Palisade fencing.

Chain Link Fencing offers a diverse and economical solution for business, industrial sites and public spaces. Chain Link Fencing contains the following features:

ALUMINIUM POOL FENCING

 

Aluminium is strong and durable yet light and easy to transport and install. Perfect for use around pool areas and in the garden, aluminium is long lasting and rust free. Simple to install, Aluminium Pool Fencing arrives in pre-made panels that attach to aluminium fence posts. The posts can either be installed in-ground or ordered with a base for installing above ground.

HEADQUARTERS SECURITY FENCING UPGRADE

 

SYNOPSIS

ExxonMobil PNG Limited are the Operator on the PNGLNG project; Papua New Guinea’s first and to date only LNG Project. ExxonMobil constructed a new $300 million country office in 2015-6. The Prime Contractor was Leighton of Australia. MONDIALE Group supplied and installed the 8 km worth of high security fencing around the facility. ExxonMobil approached MONDIALE to install a further 1km worth of Medium Security Fencing around their sports fields & 2 other associated areas. MONDIALE Group are vendor registered with ExxonMobil and routinely provide them with turn key solutions.

 

BACKGROUND

ExxonMobil had an existing Chain Link Fence around its sports facilities that it required upgrading with a welded mesh “Medium Security Fence”. ExxonMobil ran a public tender for Manufacture & Supply of Fencing and Fencing Installation works  MONDIALE Niugini was successfully awarded the contract on a Firm Fixed Price basis.

 

REQUIREMENT

The ExxonMobil requirement was for:

• Removal of 1.1km worth of existing Chain Link Fencing

• Supply & Install of new fabrication Medium Security Fencing

• Remedial works at the end of the contract.

 

To be delivered on a Delivered Duty Paid basis. The installation was split into 3 separate locations across the ExxonMobil Haus site.

 

PROCUREMENT

MONDIALE designed and supplied the fencing materials from its Singapore based engineering facilities. The manufacture was undertaken my MONIDALE Steel Product, Chengdu Limited. The fencing materials were shipped in Qty 2 x 40ft GP Containers.

 

CIVIL WORKS INSTALLATION

MONDIALE Niugini mobilized site offices, stores and established an off grid facility to provide on site offices to successfully oversee the works and adhere to ExxonMobil’s requirements. MONIDALE utilized Qty 1 x Asian Regional Project Manager who was assisted by a Site Clerk and Health & Safety Officer. MONDIALE had 3 working crews who concurrently operated. MONDIALE mobilized a range of specialist fencing machinery that included the following machinery:

 

• Bobcat T870

• Bobcat E50 Excavator

• Thwaites Site Dumper

• Concrete Hopper

• Fencing Post Removal Attachments

• Augers

• Site Offices

• Site Stores

 

Daily the Project Manager delivered Tool Box Talks to each of the 3 crews. This is in line with MONDIALE’s standard practices. It is a contributing factor to MONDIALE achieving an accident free project. The work was successful completed in less than 1 month.

AIRPORTS SECURITY (HIGH SECURITY ANTI CLIMB FENCING)

 

SYNOPSIS

MONDIALE was approached in November 2011 by Agility Logistics (DFM: AGL TY) working on ExxonMobil's (NYSE: XOM) PNGLNG project to manufacture and install 1 km High Security Anti Climb Fence for a Laydown Yard in Papua New Guinea. MONDIALE ENGINEERING design and manufacture a range of High Security Fencing - and are a leading turn key provider in the Papua New Guinea market. MONDIALE ENGINEERING manufactured the fencing and MONDIALE NIUGINI carried out the Turn Key Installation. MONDIALE ENGINEERING manufactured the fencing and MONDIALE NIUGINI carried out the Turn Key Installation.

 

BACKGROUND

Within the Asia-Pacific region Paupa New Guinea exhibits some fairly unique security challenges to corporations. MONDIALE are an approved supplier of High Security Anti Climb fencing to ExxonMobil and our “Barossa 358 HSAC” product is PNGLNG project approved. Essar was awarded the construction of ExxonMobil’s Komo Airfield project. Komo Airport was an Air-Bridge that enabled ExxonMobil to air freight directly into the project site in Papua New Guinea’s Highlands large project equipment that could not be road hauled up the Highland Highway. This required the construction of Komo Airfield to accept the Antonov-124 aircraft.

 

THE CONTRACT & WORK ORDER

MONDIALE was contracted on a Fixed Cost Contract to Manufacture, Ship and Install, 8km worth of “Barossa 358 High Security Anti Climb” fencing. MONDIALE provide a full Turn Key logistic solution (Freight Forwarding [Singapore- PNG], Customs Clearance, Inland Freight) and Turn Key Installation of Fencing.

 

MONDIALE DELIVERED

MONDIALE centrally coordinated the successful manufacturing, logistics  & installation of the fencing from our Kuala Lumpur offices, who coordinated with our offices in Papua New Guinea. At site MONDIALE NIUGINI’s civil works team deployed a team of 64 men and equipment to safely and efficiently erect the fencing. The deployment included the mobilisation to site of All Terrain Crane, JCB Back Hoe, Concrete Mixing Equipment, Cherry Pickers & Project Site Office. MONDIALE NIUGINI fully complied with all site construction regulations and mandatory insurances. MONDIALE supplied Essar with full Warranty cover for the ‘Barossa HSAC fence’.

 

SUCCESSFUL OUTCOME

Essar successfully turned over Komo Airfied to ExxonMobil in August of 2013. ExxonMobil subsequently placed under contract the single largest Antonov – 124 to move project cargo from Port Moresby staging ground to Komo Airport.
